Located only 10 minutes from the Armdale Rotary and Bayers Lake Business Park, Brookside Massage Therapy offers a number of services in a cozy environment. Below you will find descriptions of the services, price list, and appointment availability.

Therapeutic Massage

The most common Swedish Massage Techniques are used during a therapeutic massage treatment to decrease pain, increase muscle length, decrease muscle tension, and create a feeling of relaxation. Also includes deep tissue massage.

Pregnancy Massage

Pre and post natal treatments available. Used to treat muscle imbalances during/after pregnancy, and ease pain. Helps relieve low back pain. You can even request a belly massage to help stimulate the fetus.

Reiki

Pronounced "ray-kee", this ancient form of Japanese healing helps to balance energy in the body. As the moon is responsible for the ocean's tides, essentially the same effect takes place during a reiki session. The therapist is able to transfer heat/energy to allow the body to take in the energy it needs to heal.

Hot Stone Therapy

Not recommended for people with heart trouble. The heat of the stones penetrates very deep into the body creating a feeling of complete bliss and solitude. A one hour session consists of a back, neck, hands and feet treatment. Advance notice required.

Auricular Medicine

Auricular (aw-rik-yuh-ler) Medicine is a form of ancient Chinese Ear Acupuncture. This NEEDLE-FREE method of ear medicine can be used to prevent & treat many types of pain, dysfunction, addictions, and daily issues. A quick and ultimately pain-free treatment alternative.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy that works with the feet in order to balance the whole body. By applying precise pressure to reflex areas on the feet, other corresponding and connected areas of the body will feel the benefit. The feet are like mini-maps of the body’s anatomy so that any body system can be stimulated by treating the corresponding area of the foot (some practitioners will also work on hands or ears). The aim is to stimulate the body’s own healing processes in order to keep it balanced.
